The following is a list of services provided supported by a brief explantion:
Dead wood removal – Taking great care in removing any branches that are dead, or dying for the trees health, for safety or aesthetic reasons.
Tree Felling – Competent in felling both small and large trees, in a safe and controlled manner by carefully making a series of cuts at the base of the tree’s trunk.
Sectional Felling – The careful dismantling of all trees in small sections is carried out safely using skilled climbing, lowering and removal techniques.
Pollarding -The crown of a tree can be reduced by a percentage (max 40%) and the re-growth should then be removed at regular intervals to restrict both the height and spread of the tree.
Pruning – Skilfully pruning your tree by removing diseased wood, congested and rubbing branches. This encourages healthy growth of foliage and fruit, reduces the risk of disease and structural weakness. Applies to large and small trees.
Crown Reduction – Decreasing the length of all branch ends back to a suitable growth point. This diminishes the crown size and volume, ensuring the natural shape of the tree is retained.
Crown Thinning – By removing the correct branches from within the crown of your tree, making it uniformly less dense, more light will be allowed to filter through. Necessary air circulation is also improved. The natural shape of the tree is completely unaffected.
Crown lifting – By removing the lower or overhanging limbs the height of the trees crown can be increased improving adjacent light and the risk of damage.

I encourage re-planting wherever possible, and can advise on the suitability of plants and trees for specific planting environments.
I am able to remove small stumps by ‘grubbing out’ by hand, or for the larger more steadfast stumps a Stump Grinding Machine can be used. Alternatively, poison can be applied allowing the stump to decay slowly over time.
For any fallen or dangerous trees I offer a 24/7 call out service to assess and remedy potentially dangerous situations.
I am able to offer a regular or “one off service” for all types of domestic garden.
Using specialist equipment unkept areas of the garden can be maintained or reclaimed.
